Sofia's quinceanera was one of the best birthday parties we've ever seen!  It was a super long day for us, but what an awesome celebration!  The first time we met with Elizabeth, Sofia's mom, she told us that she had been watching us for years, waiting for the time she could book us for Sofia's quince.  What a huge compliment!  Elena and I were so glad that we got to spend the day with Sofia and her family.

We started the day at Sofia's house for some getting ready pictures.  Once everyone was dressed, Sofia and her court climbed into the waiting limo and we all made our way downtown to Butler Park.  The June sun was hot so we didn't want everyone to melt out of their clothes.  We worked quickly but were able to get some super cute pictures of Sofia with her friends.  Once we finished downtown, everyone headed out to Texas Old Town.  We spend some time taking family pictures and then the formal part of the evening began.  

It was so interesting to see the various cultural aspects of the quinceanera.  Everything was so well planned and one part of the evening just flowed naturally into the next.  There was never a dull moment!  Sofia's mom and dad did an amazing job of planning the perfect celebration!  One of our favorite parts of the evening was the special dance that Sofia and her court performed!  

Sofia, thank you so much for sharing your special day with us.  Elizabeth, thank you for holding out for Elena and I.  We're so appreciative that you all let us be part of such a special day.
