Amber and Adam's Wedding at Belle Oaks Inn in Gonzales, TX

Amber and Adam’s wedding day had all the charm you’d expect from a true Southern wedding.  The gals began their day with brunch at the historic Belle Oaks Inn while the guys went skeet shooting on the family ranch.  When Julia and I walked through the front door, the house was filled with joy and happiness.  Amber had done such an incredible job preparing every last detail that everyone was relaxed and enjoying the day.  As the ladies began their hair and makeup, Julia and I explored the elaborately decorated rooms of the white-pillared estate house and the grounds that surrounded it.  We were mesmerized by the unique beauty of Amber and Adam’s venue.

When it was time for the ceremony, we navigated the small-town streets of Gonzales to the First Lutheran Church, where Adam’s family has served and worshiped for several generations.  Amber’s father gleamed with pride as he officiated his daughter’s wedding, and the importance of family and faith could be felt in every moment of their beautiful ceremony.  As Amber and Adam exited the chapel, the chariot that awaited them was none other than a brand new, white Corvette Stingray - yet another perfect touch to their perfect day.  I’m sure it must’ve taken all the restraint Adam could muster to keep from opening it up on the quiet little streets of Gonzales.

Upon their return to Belle Oaks Inn, Amber and Adam enjoyed a private dinner upstairs before rejoining their guests for celebrations.  One thing’s for sure - these two certainly know how to dance! They were actually moving and spinning so fast that I had to increase my camera’s shutter speed for the first time ever!  Amber also kept us on our toes with all of the adorable expressions she made throughout the night - like her reaction when Adam accidentally threw the garter before the guys were ready. We’re so glad we caught that one!

Julia and I were truly honored to be a party of Amber and Adam’s wedding.  And even though it was probably the longest wedding day we’ve ever had, we loved every moment and had a wonderful time.

Amber and Adam, we wish you both many years of love and happiness together!
