What a beautiful, beautiful day!  Melanie and Alex chose one of our favorite venues in Austin for their wedding celebration and we were so glad that we got to be a part of it.  From the downtown hair salon to the final private dance, Melanie and Alex's wedding was such a joy!  Of course, it helps that Melanie and Alex are just two of the nicest people around.  We got to spend an evening with them taking engagement pictures.  They are so laid-back and down-to-earth.  Elena and I were excited to see them both again on their wedding day.

Chateau Bellevue in downtown Austin is such an awesome venue and it perfectly fit with Melanie and Alex's wedding.  They decided to do a first look (and we happily agreed).  Alex waited for Melanie in the courtyard.  When she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around to see her...his smile must have been a mile wide!  It was such a cute moment.  Melanie and Alex are a beautiful couple and we enjoyed taking as many pictures of them as we could.  

Their ceremony in the courtyard was just perfect!  After that, we took a few family pictures and then a few more pictures of Melanie and Alex (we just couldn't help ourselves).  What followed was one of the best parties we've seen in a long time.  The dance floor was packed all night long!  Towards the end of the night, there was a special delivery by Torchy's Tacos.  It was the perfect touch to an awesome night!  Two sparkler lines formed in the road and Melanie and Alex left sitting on the trunk of a convertible.  Perfect!
