Sarah and Cyle's Wedding at Kovar Hall in Flatonia, TX
One of the things we love about Central Texas is that there is very rarely really cold winter weather. We can shoot outside weddings all year. In fact, winter weddings are usually a nice chance for us to spend some time outside when it isn't 90+ degrees. Usually... Sarah and Cyle certainly didn't have to worry about winter weather on their wedding day because there was record setting heat on their big day! But, that didn't stop anyone from having a great time celebrating with Sarah and Cyle.
Sarah did such a great job planning her day. We met Sarah and her bridesmaids at the salon on our way to the church. After a few pictures there, we met Cyle and the groomsmen at the Colorado River Cowboy Church. Time flew by as we got pictures of details and people getting ready. In no time at all, the sanctuary was full of friends and family and it was time for the ceremony to start. Sarah and Cyle's ceremony was beautiful! After the ceremony, we had plenty of time for family pictures at the church. We finished up with those pictures and then it was time for pictures of Sarah and Cyle.
Before the ceremony started, Elena and I had a few minutes to drive over to the reception hall to get some pictures of the decor. On the way there, we saw a long stretch of Texas road and we both said, "This would be a great place for pictures." After family pictures, we explained to Sarah and Cyle where we wanted to go for pictures. Luckily, they agreed to stand in the middle of a rural highway for pictures (and didn't even call us crazy). We're so glad they agreed because the pictures are really cool! We managed not to get run over and made our way over to the reception hall. Right across the street from the hall was a cool, old church. We couldn't resist taking some pictures there. We even got Sarah and Cyle's wedding party in on the action. The pictures turned out great!
Sarah and Cyle's reception was a huge party! Tim with Austin Classic DJ was there to emcee the evening and play the tunes. After an awesome dinner, people danced and celebrated all evening. Sarah and Cyle requested our photo booth for their reception, too. As usual, it was a huge hit! It was so cool to see Sarah and Cyle celebrate with their friends and family all evening.
