Emily and Scott's Wedding in Tejas Hall at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX
I feel like I could write this entire blog post about how nice of a person Emily is. I met with Emily several months ago for her consultation. Elena was unable to make it to the consultation. Scott was living in Indianapolis. So, it was just Emily and I. We sat in Starbucks and chatted about her day. I was immediately struck by how genuine and kind she was. In fact, from the day I met her until the day of her wedding, I always called her "the Nice Girl" when I spoke about her to Elena.
From the very first moment that we arrived, Emily just made us feel so welcome. When we walked into the bride's room, Emily hugged us and told us how happy she was that we were there. "I'm so glad that ya'll are our photographers," Emily told us. And, we hadn't even taken a picture yet! What impressed us even more was that Emily was just as nice to every person she spoke with. She has such a kind soul and we're so glad that we had the opportunity to spend time with her.
Knowing how nice and sweet Emily is, it was no surprise to us to find out that Scott was a humble, polite, courteous, and kind young man. From the moment we met him, it seemed like he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Elena and I felt like guests at Emily and Scott's wedding.
Emily and Scott's wedding was so easy for us. First, they are just about as cute as can be so taking pictures was no problem. Second, they decided to do a first look which gave us the chance to take lots of pictures of the two of them. We were also able to do all of the wedding party pictures prior to the ceremony. We even got almost all of their family pictures taken before the ceremony. That really gave Emily and Scott a lot more time to spend with their friends and family later in the evening. Third, Emily and Scott decided to have their ceremony inside Tejas Hall in order to spare their guests (and their photographers) from having to deal with the Texas heat. Last but not least, Emily and Scott were blessed with one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. The clouds and lighting were just breath taking! It was the perfect day!
Emily and Scott, thank you for including us in your wedding and thank you for being so sweet and kind. We loved spending the day with you! We wish you many, many years of happiness and love together!
