Aimee and Justin's Wedding at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels, TX
We are so glad that we had several opportunities to spend time with Aimee and Justin! They are so much fun to be around and we're so happy for them. Elena and I spent an evening with them at Landa Park in New Braunfels taking engagement pictures. We then got the chance to spend another evening with Aimee for her bridal session. Aimee chose to do pictures at the Capitol Building in downtown Austin. It was such an awesome setting for her pictures. Elena and I had so much fun with her because every single pictures was just amazing! Aimee is a beautiful young lady and we were so glad that we spent a few hours with her taking some really great pictures of her in her dress.
Aimee and Justin's wedding was a HUGE celebration! There were lots and lots of friends and family who joined them in celebrating. We started at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels. When we arrived, we immediately saw why Aimee and Justin chose this church for their ceremony. The church was beautiful! We saw Aimee as soon as she arrived. She was so nervous and excited! While Aimee was getting into her dress, Justin was in the church greeting friends and family. A few minutes before the ceremony, Aimee's father met with Justin and all of the groomsmen in a room next to the sanctuary. He had something he wanted to share with Justin. "Aimee was a gift to her mother and I. A gift from God. So, she isn't mine to give away. God has given her to you." It was such an emotional and tender moment.
Aimee and Justin's ceremony was beautiful. After the mass, we spent some time taking family pictures at the church. Once we finished up at the church, we made our way over to Landa Park to take some pictures of the wedding party and the newlyweds. Unfortunately, the park was just too packed. We all decided to head over to the reception hall and take pictures there. Aimee and Justin's reception was at the New Braunfels Civic Center. The reception hall was really big and provided plenty of space for all of Aimee and Justin's friends and family. There was even an outside courtyard area that was just big enough for wedding party pictures. After wedding party pictures, we spent a few minutes with Aimee and Justin. They are so easy to take pictures of! It didn't take us but just a few minutes to get lots of really great pictures of them.
Aimee and Justin's reception was awesome! While people were eating, mariachi's made their way around the hall. And, when it was time to dance, the dance floor was packed! We brought our photo booth to the wedding with us...and it was packed, too! When it was time to leave, husband and wife made their way through a shower of rose petals to their truck.
