Katya and Rudy's Wedding at The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls in Spring Branch, TX
We were so excited to be returning to The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls so soon. We had just been there for the first time a few months ago and now we had another chance to visit this fantastic venue. And, we were so glad that we got to return to spend the day with Katya and Rudy. We met with Katya at our home last year. She was so nice and always had a beautiful smile on her face. Rudy wasn't able to make it to the consultation, so Elena and I were excited to meet him at their wedding. Rudy is a serious young man, but he was always polite and accommodating to us and made us feel welcome from the time we arrived.
One of our favorites parts of the day was when Katya and Rudy exchanged gifts. Brides and grooms often buy each other gifts on their wedding day, but we rarely see as much excitement as we did with Katya and Rudy. They were so cute! As Katya opened her presents, all of the bridesmaids were in the room to admire what she got. Rudy sent one present after another. There were some things from Tiffany's, a jewelry box, and even a huge box of roses with a huge letter 'K' in the center. Katya loved all of it!
Before the ceremony, we had time to take pictures of the bride and bridesmaids as well as the groom and groomsmen. Once we were done with that, it was time for the official part of the day. Katya and Rudy's ceremony was beautiful. The ceremony site is so impressive with the waterfalls behind it. Everything was just perfect! After the ceremony, we took some family pictures and then some pictures of the wedding party. Then we had a chance to spend a few minutes with Katya and Rudy. They are so cute together. We loved being able to spend time with them taking so beautiful pictures!
Katya and Rudy's reception was great! The food was awesome and the cakes were AMAZING! We brought our photo booth with us and it was packed all night. At one point in the evening, Katya and Rudy slipped outside and popped a special bottle of champagne. It was such a nice little private moment. We spent a few minutes taking some cool pictures of the newlyweds and then, before we knew it, it was time to send them off.
Katya and Rudy, thank you so much for sharing your wedding with us. Elena and I were so happy to spend the day with you. We wish you many years of love together!
