Kacey and Josh's Wedding in Sage Hall at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX
I met with Kacey and Josh the very first time to chat about Austin Classic DJ. We sat in a Starbucks in Buda and went over lots of information about our DJ services. I assumed that they already had a photographer because pictures are generally one of the first things couples take care of and DJ is one of the last. Towards the end of our meeting, I figured I would throw out the photography question just to make sure Kacey and Josh had that covered. And I'm so glad that I did! Kacey and Josh did not have a photographer and, after providing them with more information, they decided to let us share their day with them! Both Kacey and Josh are two of the kindest, most caring people you will ever meet and Elena and I are so blessed that we had the opportunity to take their engagement and wedding pictures.
Sage Hall at Texas Old Town was the perfect setting for Kacey and Josh's wedding. The hall was big enough to hold all of their guests (and they had lots of guests) and they did such a great job with the decorations. Everything was beautiful! We had plenty of time before the ceremony to get pictures of Kacey and her bridesmaids as well as Josh and his groomsmen. We even got some of the family pictures taken care of early! Kacey and Josh's ceremony was beautiful. As soon as they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife, we stole them for some pictures. We were able to beat the setting sun (and cloudy skies) and get some really beautiful pictures of Kacey and Josh together. Family pictures followed and then it was off to the reception.
Kacey and Josh's reception was a blast! We really enjoyed the toasts! It was so awesome to hear over and over how respected and loved Kacey and Josh are by their friends. After a bit of cake, the dance floor opened. Tim with Austin Classic DJ had the floor full all night long. There was even an impromptu serenading of the groom by the bride...and about thirty other people! Shania Twain would have been proud! We usually don't do video, but I couldn't resist recording the show. After that, it was decided that a mannequin challenge was in order. That was lots of fun, too! A little bit later Kacey and Josh left through a cloud of bubbles.
Kacey and Josh, thank you so much for deciding to share your special day with Elena and I. We had such a great time with you and your friends and family. We wish you many years of love and happiness together!
