Becca and Danny's Wedding at Addison Grove in Austin, TX
I met Becca and Danny for the first time at a Starbucks in the Galleria. We talked for a really long time...and some of our conversation was about photography. Becca and Danny are just such nice people and so fun to talk with that I had to remind myself that this was a business meeting. Elena and I were so excited when they decided to use us as their photographers. Spending time with people like Becca and Danny is what makes our job so great!
We were also excited about Becca and Danny's wedding because we got to go to a new venue. Addison Grove in Austin was such a cool place! The reception hall is this kind of chic rustic design with a really tall ceiling and gorgeous chandeliers. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. The outside ceremony site was under a huge tree and nestled up to a little pond. There was a separate house for the bride and bridesmaids as well as an awesome outside cocktail hour area. It really was an impressive venue.
We found Becca and Danny getting ready when we arrived. Once everyone was dressed, we got right into pictures. Becca and Danny decided to do a first look and we were so glad they did. First, they are a really cute couple so taking pictures of them was a breeze. Second, it was really cloudy on the day of their wedding. Had they waited to do their pictures until after the ceremony, it would have already been dark outside, which would have really limited our ability to take pictures. Becca and Danny's pictures are really cute and we had a great time chatting with them as we worked. We were also able to get lots of family and wedding party pictures finished before the ceremony which gave Becca and Danny more time to spend with their friends once the party started!
Speaking of parties...Becca and Danny's reception was so much fun! They had great food, awesome cake, and a live band. People danced all night long. It was so fun for Elena and I to watch Becca and Danny throughout the evening. It was so obvious how happy their friends and family were for them and how happy they were to be with each other.
Becca and Danny, thank you both for being so kind to us and for allowing us to be a part of your big day! We enjoyed every minute we spent with you and wish you many, many years of love and happiness!
