Ashley and Chris' Wedding at the Terrace Club in Dripping Springs, TX
We got an e-mail several months ago from Ashley that said, "So, I'm finally setting a date for my wedding..." Elena and I looked at each other and said, "Who is Ashley? Is this our Ashley? Like...Terrace Club Ashley?" It took us a second to wrap our brains around what we had read. Then we both yelled with joy! We know Ashley because she is one of the outstanding coordinators at The Terrace Club. Over the past year we have had the opportunity to get to know her well as we worked with her at various weddings. Elena and I were so happy that Ashley would consider asking us to be her wedding photographers. She sees so many different photographers and we were honored that Ashley wanted to spend her big day with us.
One of the things we know (and love) about Ashley is that she is a no-stress, laid-back kind of person. What we learned about Chris after meeting him on the wedding day was that he has the same laid-back, easy going personality that Ashley has. We were so excited to spend a day with Ashley and Chris because we knew that it would be a lot less like work and a lot more like hanging out with friends. When we arrived at The Terrace Club, we found Ashley in the bride's room calmly getting ready. She looked beautiful! As she continued to get ready, we went about taking pictures of all the details of her day. The weather wasn't exactly cooperating, so Ashley and Chris decided to move their wedding inside. Hunter, Kristen, and Taylor did an AMAZING job decorating for Ashley and Chris' wedding! The inside ceremony area was just beautiful!
Before the ceremony, we had time to take pictures of Ashley with her family and Chris with his family. Once we finished, it was time for the ceremony. The room was packed with Ashley and Chris' friends and family. It was such a great celebration! After the ceremony, we spent time taking a few family pictures and then went outside with Ashley and Chris to get a few pictures of the newlyweds. They are so cute together. We laughed the whole time we were with them.
Ashley and Chris' party was fun from beginning to end! Tim with Austin Classic DJ was there to keep the dance floor hopping. Our photo booth was busy all night long! Ashley and Chris spent the evening celebrating with their friends and family. There was even a surprise fireworks show put together by Kristen and one of The Terrace Club's awesome vendors! Kristen called me a few days before the wedding and told me about the surprise. She asked me how we could get Ashley and Chris outside without giving away the fireworks. So, the two of us chatted for a bit and came up with a plan. It was such a great addition to such an awesome evening!
Ashley and Chris, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day! We had such a wonderful time with you and are so happy to your beautiful family! We wish you many, many years of love and happiness together!
