Melissa and Dillon's Wedding at The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs, TX
We love Melissa and Dillon so much! Elena and I were so excited to go to Melissa and Dillon's wedding because we were just excited to see Melissa and Dillon again. They are so kind and from the second you meet them it just feels like you've known them forever. Melissa and Dillon's engagement session was fun and we were so glad that we had another chance to spend some time with Melissa for her bridal session. Melissa met us at the Capitol Building and we spent a few hours taking some fantastic bridal portraits. Melissa's mom came with her and we were happy to see her again. We had the opportunity to meet Dillon's mom at the bridal session, too! During the bridal session, Melissa told us that she and Dillon had decided they would have invited us to their wedding even if we weren't their photographers because we are such nice people. What a nice thing to say! Melissa really made our day!
Melissa and Dillon couldn't have chosen a better venue for their wedding. The Terrace Club is such a fantastic wedding venue. Hunter, Kristen, and Ashley always do such a fantastic job! Their staff is so professional and always ensures that all of the wedding day details are taken care of for the bride and groom. All Melissa and Dillon had to do on their wedding day was show up and have a great time. Everything else was taken care of. The reception hall was decorated with peacock feathers and it was beautiful!
When we arrived, all of the girls were busy getting hair and makeup done. Once everyone was ready, I took Dillon outside for the first look. Dillon patiently waited on the hill behind The Terrace Club for Melissa to come out to him. When Melissa walked up behind him and Dillon turned around...well, it was an awesome moment! The smile on Dillon's face said more than any words. We spent the next twenty minutes taking pictures of Melissa and Dillon. They are such a cute couple and we love taking pictures of them. Before their ceremony, we even had time to get all of the wedding party pictures done. It always make the day go much smoother when we can get a lot of pictures out of the way before the ceremony starts.
Melissa and Dillon's ceremony was beautiful. After the ceremony, we spent a few minutes taking family pictures. The timing worked out perfectly for us to get sunset pictures with Melissa and Dillon right before they were announced into their reception. And, their sunset pictures were awesome! The sky was beautiful. The light was just right. And, Melissa and Dillon were perfect! Their sunset pictures are some of our favorite ever!
Melissa and Dillon's reception was such a great celebration of the joining of two friends and two families. At the end of the night, Melissa and Dillon hugged us both and told us how much they had enjoyed spending time with us. The feeling was definitely mutual. We loved every minute we spent with Melissa and Dillon and look forward to seeing them again in the future!
