It was a beautiful day at Texas Old Town for Sarah and Matthew's wedding and we were so happy to be able to spend the day with them. When we walked into Redbud Hall, we were so impressed with all of the decorations. Sarah had spent months collecting tea cups and saucers at antique stores and online. At each seat, there was a unique cup and saucer. These were Sarah and Matthew's gifts to their guests. It was so creative and so cute! As big tea drinkers, we loved looking at all of the individual designs and cups. As soon as we saw Sarah, we complimented her on the great idea!
We were so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with Sarah and Matthew. They are such nice people. They have such kind hearts and their personalities fit so well together. Taking pictures of Sarah and Matthew was so easy. Of course, Sarah looked beautiful in her dress! She chose such a great dress that was so flattering on her. We were quickly figuring out that Sarah has really good taste! Sarah and Matthew decided to do a first look...and it was so cute! It was wonderful to see the emotion on their faces when they saw each other for the first time. The pictures that we took of the two of them together were awesome! Sarah and Matthew gave us plenty of time for pictures. We worked quickly, but were never rushed and we had time to take lots of pictures. After bridesmaids and groomsmen, it was time to start the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautiful. We always love it when a family member does the ceremony because there is more emotion, more stories, more connection. After family pictures, it was time to party. Andy with Austin Classic DJ was on hand to emcee the evening and handle the music. The reception was really fun. The toasts were full of cheers and well-wishes for Sarah and Matthew...and a few tears of joy and love. When it was time to dance, Sarah changed into another really cute dress and everyone danced the evening away!
Sarah and Matthew, thank you for letting us spend such a wonderful day with you. Congratulations again and we wish you many, many years of happiness!
