Lindsay and Ory's Wedding in Sage Hall at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX
We were so excited to come to Lindsay and Ory's wedding. We had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with this cute couple taking engagement pictures. We then spent a morning in Gruene, TX with Lindsay taking bridal pictures. Lindsay is such a beautiful young lady and taking pictures of her is so easy. And, both Lindsay and Ory are such easy-going, nice people. We knew their wedding would be a fun day. When we arrived at Texas Old Town, we couldn't believe how great Sage Hall looked! I don't think we've ever seen the hall look better. There were tons of cool little decorations everywhere. Lindsay's mom was the first person we saw when we arrived. She immediately wanted to know what she could do to help us and what we needed the bride and bridesmaids to do for pictures. It was so nice to have someone who was so eager to help. The more we got to know Lindsay's mom, the more we understood why Lindsay was such a fantastic young lady.
One of the things that we really love about Texas Old Town is how much time they give their clients in the halls. Some venues really limit the amount of time that couples can use the venue. This almost always forces people to stress and rush to get everything done. But, with Texas Old Town, clients have the hall for the majority of the day. And, by the time we arrive to take pictures, decorations are done and everyone is calmly getting ready for the wedding. There's no rushing, no stress, no worries. Lindsay and Ory's wedding was just this way. It almost didn't feel like we were at work because everyone was so laid back and relaxed. We got pictures of all of the cool details and had plenty of time before the ceremony to get bride/bridesmaids pictures and groom/groomsmen pictures.
Lindsay and Ory's ceremony was beautiful. We were so impressed with their pastor. He did such a great job of describing the relationship between husband and wife. It was great to see Lindsay and Ory starting their marriage with such great advice. After their wedding, we spent a few minutes taking family pictures and wedding party pictures. We then spent a few more minutes taking pictures of just Lindsay and Ory. The landscaping at Texas Old Town is always beautiful and finding places to take pictures is so easy (of course, Lindsay and Ory are so cute they could make a downtown alley look good). We love Lindsay and Ory's pictures are were so thankful that they gave us the chance to spend a few more minutes with them.
Lindsay and Ory's reception was great! Andy, with Austin Classic DJ, was on hand again to emcee the evening and keep the dance floor packed. He did both perfectly! People danced all night until it was time to send Lindsay and Ory off in a cloud of bubbles.
