Kimberlie and Ben's Wedding at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX

Kim and Ben are so nice!  We met them at a bridal show at Texas Old Town and they signed a contract that day.  We didn't see them again for a while.  Kim sent us a e-mail several weeks before their wedding and we set up a time to get together and chat about their big day.  Elena and I were so glad that Kim and Ben came over to our house.  It was nice to meet them at the bridal fair, but we didn't get a chance to really talk with them because there was a bunch of poeple.  When they came to our house, we really got a chance to sit and talk with them and get to know them better.  It's so much easier (and more fun) to take pictures of people that we have had a chance to get to know.  And, while Ben seemed like a quiet guy at the bridal show, he is very personable and very funny.  And, Kim is just one of the sweetest people we have met.

On their wedding day, it was...well...HOT!!!  Standing outside for more than five minutes meant massive sweating.  So, after their short ceremony, we worked through family pictures as quickly as possible and then made our way inside.  Dinner was provided by family.  The brisket and sausage were AWESOME!!!  It was so good and there was so much of it.  If anyone went away hungry, it was their own fault.  While we were eating dinner, clouds moved in and the temperature dropped about ten degrees outside.  After dinner (and before it got dark), we went outside with Kim and Ben and spent twenty minutes or so taking some really cute pictures of the two of them...without sweat!  They even brought an old truck as a prop.  It was a lot of fun!

The rest of the evening was spent eating, drinking, dancing, and laughing.  It was so great to see two families come together to celebrate Kim and Ben's wedding.  Elena and I had such a great time and wish Kim and Ben many years together with friends and family!

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for doing such a beautiful job. The evening was long and "HOT" but your eye for the beauty of the event and family shenanigans shine through with each picture. I am glad we had you to document this event. Again, many thanks -
