Rachel and Nicholas' Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th
We were so, so happy when we got a call from Rachel one day asking us to be her wedding photographers. Elena and I had the opportunity to get to know Rachel and her family when we took pictures of her sister's wedding. You will never meet nicer, more down-to-earth people. Everyone that we met in Rachel's family is just a joy to be around. And, on top of that, Rachel is a gorgeous young lady! Rachel and Nicholas' wedding was at the Bell Tower on 34th in Houston. This venue is, hands down, the most beautiful venue we have ever seen. A beautiful couple...a dream venue...we were in wedding heaven!
We arrived at the venue before the wedding party and started taking pictures. We saw Rachel when she arrived and the first thing she said to us was, "I am so happy that you guys are here today to take our pictures!" What a great way to start the day! We were happy to be there, too. We had not met Nicholas before now. I can't remember a time when someone made us feel more comfortable at a wedding. Nicholas was so polite and kind and accommodating. All of his groomsmen were just as nice. Before the wedding we had time to get pictures of Nicholas and the groomsmen. I finished up with them and went to take some fun pictures of the girls in the dressing room. After the pulled me out of the planter box that I fell in, we were able to get lots of cute pictures of Rachel and the bridesmaids. (Yes...I literally fell in a planter box and Rachel's two sisters had to pull me out. It was quite the sight seeing two little petite girls in the beautiful dresses pulling the big photographer out of the flowers. Thank you, by the way.)
There ceremony was held ourside in front of a huge wall with water flowing down it. It was simply a stunning setting! Their ceremony was beautiful. Once the ceremony was finished, we immediately took Rachel and Nicholas to take pictures of the two of them together. Every single picture we took was amazing! The hardest part of taking pictures of Rachel and Nicholas was stopping. Family pictures and wedding party pictures wrapped up the formal picture taking and then it was on to the reception. The ballroom was awesome and Rachel and Nicholas' friends and family danced the night away. Rachel and Nicholas left in a white Rolls Royce.
