We immediately fell in love with Kellie's personality when she visited our home for her wedding consultation. She is so sweet and kind and funny. And, from the first time she said his name, it was so obvious that she was so in love with Landan! Her eyes just sparkled and she couldn't wait to tell us how great he is. When she left, Elena and I both agreed that this is the way love is supposed to be and we knew that we would have a great time working with Kellie and Landan.
Kellie and Landan came prepared to their engagement shoot in Gruene. Landan was carrying a laundry basket of clothes and props under his arm when we met him for the first time. It was so nice to see that they had spent some time planning and thinking about their shoot. That always makes things go much smoother. But, the most unique prop they brought wasn't in the clothes basket. After we finished taking pictures in Gruene, Kellie and Landan asked us if we could drive down the road a bit and take a few more pictures in a field of bluebonnets. Well, of course we agreed to that. The field was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and it was a fantastic way to end of Kellie and Landan's shoot. But, the prop that made the field of bluebonnets so great was...Kellie's cat! This was a first for us. We've done lots of dog pictures, but never a cat. It was really, really cute! Thank you so much to the Accents of Gruene Bed & Breakfast (www.accentsofgruene.com) for letting us use their beautiful field of bluebonnets!
We are so excited to be a part of Kellie and Landan's wedding and so happy that we can share their engagement pictures with everyone!
