Julie and Flynn's Engagement Session in Downtown Austin, TX

Julie and Flynn raised the bar for engagement sessions!  They decided to do a morning shoot (something we always love).  They had different outfits.  They had props.  They had a couple of locations in mind that were all close together.  And (perhaps most importantly), they played in the fountain at Butler Park at the end of their engagement session!  On top of all of that, Julie and Flynn are two of the nicest people you will ever meet.  We had such a great time with them.  We are so glad that they chose us to be their wedding photographers.

Julie and Flynn's props were fun and meaningful.  They brought a Texas and Massachusetts flag (where Julie and Flynn are from, respectively).  It was challenging to get the wind to cooperate with us for pictures with the flags.  But, a bit of patience was all we needed for some great pictures.  They also brought a California flag because that was where they met.  We thought it was a great idea to have props that reflected Julie and Flynn's journey together.

At the end of their shoot, Julie and Flynn were completely soaked!  I told Julie that I would have given her a hug, but...well, she was wet.  That didn't stop Julie for a second!  She gave me a huge hug and gladly got me wet, too.  I guess that was the price I had to pay for agreeing to the fountain pictures (it was Flynn's idea to play in the water, I just supported his idea).  We all had a great time and are already looking forward to Julie and Flynn's wedding!
