Jessica and Grant's Wedding at Villa St. Clair in Austin, TX

We were so pleased to have another opportunity to spend time with Jessica and Grant.  Two nicer people cannot be found.  Spending more time with them on their wedding day didn't seem like work at all.  We smiled and laughed the entire day and were so happy to see Jessica and Grant doing the same.

This was Elena and I's first time to visit Villa St. Clair in Austin.  It is always a treat for us to get to visit a new venue, especially one as beautiful as Villa St. Clair.  When we arrived, Kim (the owner), had the bride's room neatly arranged with all of the important details laid out.  Elena and I were immediately able to get to work before anybody else arrived.  It was nice to not be rushed.

The wedding party began to arrive soon and everyone started getting ready.  Jessica and Grant chose to do a first look outside, which we thought was a great idea...even though it was cold, cold, cold!!!  Grant and I went outside and got in place for the first look.  Little did we know that Jessica was inside in the cozy bride's room eating grapes while we were outside with our teeth chattering.  :-)  (Honestly, Jessica didn't know that Grant was waiting for her, but that doesn't make for as good of a story.)  The wait, however, was worth it.  It was such an emotional moment when Grant saw Jessica for the first time in her dress.  We spent a few minutes outside taking some more pictures.  I think Jessica was the toughest one of the four of us.  Elena and I had on heavy coats.  Grant was wearing a suit.  All three of us were about to shake out of our skin.  Jessica was just in her dress and didn't appear to be cold at all.  Jessica and Grant are so great to work with and so easy to take pictures of.  Their wedding pictures are fantastic!

Jessica and Grant's ceremony was beautiful.  Stephen Simmons with I Do Ceremonies (idoceremonies.org) did a wonderful job (as always) with Jessica and Grant's ceremony.  It was touching, funny, personal, and just the right length.  After the ceremony, we spent just a few minutes with family pictures and then the reception started.  There was so much food available for Jessica and Grant's guests.  I don't think anyone went home hungry.  Music played and everyone danced the evening away.  It was just about the perfect evening.

Jessica and Grant, we love you guys!  Thank you for being so, so kind to us.  We are so thankful that we had the chance to be part of such an important day for your family.  Congratulations!
