Kellie and Landan's Wedding in Stone Hall at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX
What a great way to end 2015! We are so glad that our last wedding of the year was Kellie and Landan's wedding. They are so cute and so nice. We felt right at home with them from the very first minute we met. Kellie and Landan's engagement shoot was earlier in the year and is one of our favorites. We had the chance to meet with Kellie again a few months ago for her bridal session at A&M. She is such a beautiful young lady and her pictures are awesome! Kellie and Landan both have such positive and friendly personalities. After an engagement shoot and bridal session, we were definitely looking forward to spending another day with them at their wedding.
On the day of Kellie and Landan's wedding, the weather didn't exactly cooperate. It was a bit cold and wet outside. It's times like this that remind us why Texas Old Town is one of our favorite venues. Stone Hall is such a beautiful hall and Kellie and Landan were able to have their ceremony inside the hall. Kellie and Landan didn't want to see each other before their wedding, but they did meet on opposite sides of a door for a few minutes just to say hello. It was such a cute moment! Landan gave Kellie a rose and told her how excited he was to see her in just a few minutes.
Kellie and Landan's ceremony was beautiful. The best part was the kiss at the end. Landan did an awesome dip kiss with Kellie! Very cool! As soon as the ceremony was over, we went outside with Kellie and Landan for their pictures. We were so glad that Kellie agreed to brave the cold for a few minutes to get pictures. One of the things we learned about Kellie and Landan at their engagement session is that it's impossible for them to take a bad picture. That, of course, means that it's very difficult for me to stop taking pictures because everything they do looks great! Their wedding pictures were no different. It was so much fun. After their picture together, their immediate families braved the cold for a bit for family pictures outside.
Once we finished all of the official stuff, it was time for the reception to start. Kellie and Landan's reception was a great celebration with friends and family. Dinner was great. The toasts were good. Everyone danced. There was a bubble exit. The newlywed's car was shoe polished. It was a perfect reception!
Kellie and Landan, thank you for being so kind and sweet and fun. Elena and I loved spending time with you both. We wish you many, many years of happiness together!
