We were so, so happy to spend the day with Irina and Javier.  They are such a sweet couple!  We love it when we get to shoot more than just a couple's wedding day because it gives us the opportunity to get to know them better.  And, Irina and Javier are just the kind of people we like to get to know!  Irina and Javier's wedding was at a venue outside San Antonio.  It was a place that we had never visited before and it was really beautiful.

One of the things that we really love about Javier is that he goes out of his way to make people feel welcome.  He introduced Elena and I to his friends and family as if we had been life-long friends.  It was so nice of Javier to make such an effort to include us.  When Irina arrived, she was just as kind a Javier.  Once everybody was ready, Irina and Javier had a few minutes before their ceremony to do a first look.  It was so cute!  We love seeing the reactions of both the bride and groom when they see each other for the first time.

Irina and Javier's ceremony was the most touching ceremony I have ever seen!  It was just awesome!!!  They did such a great job of including their friends in the ceremony.  And, their vows...well...there wasn't anybody that wasn't crying.  Just beautiful!  After the ceremony, we took lots of family pictures.  Sometimes I think people overlook how important this part of the day is.  One of the things that we love most about being wedding photographers is that we get the chance to take lots of family pictures.  These are pictures are so important and will be looked at generations from now.  That's exciting!

Irina and Javier's reception was so much fun!  Dinner was great.  The toasts were awesome (especially the plea for grandchildren).  And, once the dance floor opened, people danced all night long.  It was so cool to see Irina and Javier spend the entire evening celebration with their friends and family.

Irina and Javier, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your kindness.  We are so happy that we had the opportunity to be a part of your wedding celebration.  We wish you both many years of love and happiness!
