Becca and Daniel's Wedding at The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs, TX
Becca and Daniel's wedding was awesome!!! We had such a great time with them and are so thankful that they chose us to be their photographers. They were both so kind a gracious all evening and their pictures are beautiful!
We weren't sure that we were going to be able to make it to Becca and Daniel's wedding. On the morning of their wedding, we got 16 inches of rain at our house in less than 6 hours! It was an unbelievable amount of rain. Kyle was flooded. Roads all around Central Texas were flooded. We called The Terrace Club to make sure that roads were passable. Once we were sure that people were out and about, we packed up and headed that direction. As it turned out, we had no problems getting to the venue.
To be honest, we were a bit worried that the weather might negatively affect Becca and Daniel's wedding. But, we were all so lucky. Every time we needed to go outside to take pictures, the rain stopped. As soon as we finished taking the pictures we needed, the rain started again. It was amazing! We were able to do groom/groomsmen, bride/bridesmaids, and bridal party pictures all outside. We were even able to get outside after their ceremony to do pictures of Becca and Daniel. They are such a beautiful couple. Their pictures are so natural and fun. And, right as we got to the end of their pictures...it started raining again. Whew!
Becca and Daniel's ceremony was beautiful. This is a perfect example of why The Terrace Club is one of Central Texas' leading wedding venues. The soggy conditions made it impossible for the ceremony to be held outside. The ladies at The Terrace Club didn't miss a beat. They are, hands down, the best coordinating team we have seen. The downstairs room at the venue was converted into a beautiful ceremony area. Becca walked down the aisle with her father and everything was just perfect!
Becca and Daniel's reception was full of fun, laughter, and lots and lots of dancing. Becca and Daniel's first dance was a special moment. One of their friends played the guitar and another sang "Thinking Out Loud" while Becca and Daniel danced. It was so cool to see them include their friends in their first dance. Once all of the formalities were finished, the party started. Andy with Austin Classic DJ did a great job keeping people on the dance floor dancing.
