What a beautiful day for two beautiful people to get married!  Alicia and Russell booked us to shoot their wedding in August 2014.  Between the time they booked with us and got married, we had several chances to spend time with them.  We had the opportunity to spend a morning with them doing engagement pictures in Gruene.  A few months later met Alicia at the Zilker Botanical Gardens for her bridal session.  One of the things we love most about our job is that we have the chance to spend time with such wonderful people.  Alicia and Russell are two of the kindest, friendliest people we have met and we enjoyed every opportunity we had to spend time with them.  Elena and I were excited when their wedding day finally arrived.

Before the wedding, we spent just a few minutes taking pictures of the girls and guys separately.  Alicia and Russell didn't want to see each other before their wedding, but we got some really cute pictures of them holding hands around the corner of the building right before their ceremony.  Their ceremony at the outside wedding site close to Redbud Hall was beautiful.  After the ceremony and some family pictures, we had the chance to spend a few minutes taking pictures of Alicia and Russell.    They are so perfect for each other.  It was obvious how comfortable Alicia and Russell are with each other.  They just laughed and joked the whole time they were with us.  It made our job so much easier.  

Alicia and Russell's reception was great!  Dinner was so good.  And, Alicia made her own cake.  Of course, I couldn't resist trying a cake made by the bride.  It was really good!  They danced the night away with the friends and family.  Everyone had a fantastic time.  Alicia and Russell left at the end of the night amid a flurry of glow sticks.
