Kristi and Steve's Wedding At Kinnington House in Round Rock, TX
Kristi and Steve did a very rare thing. They contacted us less than two months before their wedding, we were free, and they booked us for their wedding. And, we are so glad they did! Elena and I had such a great time with Kristi, Steve, and their friends and families. We thought for a second that the weather wasn't going to cooperate with us. Ten minutes before the outdoor ceremony, it started raining! We were all about to be really upset. But, just as quick as it started, it stopped! We were all relieved and it was time to get married!
After the ceremony, we did family pictures and then spent some time with Kristi and Steve taking pictures of just the two of them. We always love this part of the day (of course). It's so fun for us to have a few minutes with just the bride and groom to be creative and take pictures that they will really love. Once we got done with pictures, it was time to eat! Dinner was great (the ribs were especially tasty) and it was really nice to see the bride and groom sit down and eat dinner (surprisingly, this doesn't happen very often).
Once the party started, Austin Classic DJ (our new business addition) made sure everyone was dancing and having a great time. My favorite part of the entire evening was the slideshow that was put together by Kristi's family. It showed lots of family pictures from Kristi and Steve's childhood all the way up to present day. And, it made me realize (once again) how special a wedding day is. You see, Elena and I always see couples on their one special day. What we don't see is the years and years that led up to that one special day. It was nice to see that Kristi and Steve's marriage was built on years of family and friends and love. It was also nice to be reminded that our marriage was built on the same thing. Thank you Kristi and Steve for reminding Elena and I of that.
At the end of the evening, Kristi and Steve sent us home with a HUGE piece of cake. You all know how close that is to my heart! And, the cake was really good. Our kids enjoyed it for several days after the wedding.
We are so happy that we had the chance to be a part of Kristi and Steve's wedding day. Elena and I wish you both many, many years of happiness with friends and family!

What else can be said? Wonderful. Just wonderful. Not only did you take amazing photos, but made us feel at ease and comfortable during our wedding day. We could not have asked for anything better. Thank you both so very much!
