I don't think two nicer people than Erica and Micah exist. Their wedding was our last wedding from our very first bridal show (almost a year and a half ago). So, we have been waiting quite a while to spend the day with them. It was definitely worth the wait! As soon as we arrived at the hotel where they were getting ready, Erica got us set up with all of the things we needed for pictures (rings, shoes, dress, bouquet). We were able to get all of the 'getting ready' pictures that we needed before we headed over to the church. One of the really special moments of the day for Elena and I happened right before Erica and her bridesmaids changed into their dresses. They all sat on a bed in a circle around Erica and prayed for her and Micah and their wedding day and the beginning of their life together. What a great way to start a day and a marriage!
After the ceremony at a Catholic Church in Dripping Springs, we spent a bit of time taking family pictures. After all the family left, Elena and I followed the newlyweds over to a small prayer chapel next to the church. It really says a lot about who they are as individuals and as a couple that the first thing they wanted to do after getting married was spend time praying together. This was another great moment!
Once we finished up at the church, we drove Erica and Micah back to The Terrace Club. Once again, this venue was fantastic!!! The ladies that coordinate the weddings there do such a great job! They are able to keep everything running smoothly and on time without being rude or pushy. Elena and I are so impressed with what they do. The table settings look fantastic. The staff is super friendly. The dance floor is just the right size. It was great! After dinner and toasts, the DJ turned up the music and everyone had a great time. We were even able to sneak outside for a couple of sunset pictures! It was a great evening!
Erica and Micah, thank you so much for allowing Elena and I to be a part of your wedding experience. We love spending time with you and are so happy for both of you. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
