Shelby and Fabien's Wedding at Texas Old Town

Shelby and Fabien Wedding Slideshow At most weddings we go to, Elena and I are the ones speaking the foreign, European language.  When Fabien's family from Germany arrived at Texas Old Town, we immediately knew we were outnumbered!  What a great day of celebration with family and friends as Shelby and Fabien combined two families and two cultures!  Elena and I had a wonderful time spending the afternoon with them and capturing the best moments of their wedding day.

Of course, after Shelby and Fabien's engagement session a few months ago, Elena and I were prepared for a great wedding.  We spent almost as much time chatting after their engagement session as we did taking pictures.  So, when we showed up on their wedding day it was like seeing old friends again.  One of our favorite parts of the day happened at the end of the wedding ceremony.  Shelby and Fabien, following a German wedding tradition, cut a gigantic heart of out a bed sheet.  It was something that we had never seen at a wedding before and we always love seeing new traditions.  The reception was really fun!  The DJ even threw on a German dance song towards the end of the evening.  We didn't know a single word, but the music was really cool!

Shelby and Fabien, thank you so much for letting us spend your wedding day with you.  Congratulations again on your wedding...AND...congratulations on your new addition.  Elena and I are so happy for you both!
