Kerby and Chris' Wedding at St. Mary's Cathedral and Texas Old Town

Elena and I were so excited to be a part of Kerby and Chris' wedding.  Kerby and her mom came to our house for the wedding consultation and we immediately knew that we would enjoy spending the evening with their family.  They were so personable and just regular, down-to-earth people.  Kerby's mom was such a huge help to us before the wedding.  She spent lots of time communicating with us and Andy, our DJ, to get all of the details for Kerby and Chris' big day worked out.  She made our jobs so much easier and all of us are so appreciative of her hard work.

The weather wasn't great on the day of Kerby and Chris' wedding.  But, when you are having your ceremony at the most beautiful cathedral in Austin, St. Mary's Cathedral, and your reception at one of the best venues in Texas, Texas Old Town, the weather just doesn't really seem to matter.  I had a few minutes before the ceremony to take pictures of Chris outside of St. Mary's.  After the ceremony and some beautiful family pictures, I took the whole bridal party outside for pictures.  They probably thought I was crazy because I had them standing in the middle of street for bridal party pictures.  Thankfully, they were a great group of people and were willing to humor me.  And, the pictures were really fun.

The Christmas themed reception at Texas Old Town was really fun.  Austin Classic DJ kept everyone dancing and did a great job of MC'ing the evening.  We really loved seeing how attentive Chris was to Kerby.  As strange as it might sound, that isn't always the case and we love seeing a groom like Chris who pay so much attention to his bride.  That's just the way it should be.

Kerby and Chris, congratulations again on your wedding.  We are so happy for you and your growing family.  We wish you many, many years of happiness!
