Elena and I are so happy that we got the opportunity to get to know Leann, Tucker, and Aly. They are such a wonderful family. From the very first time we met them at their wedding consultation, we loved spending time with them. Their engagement session was so great. We took lots of really nice pictures of Leann and Tucker, but we also had the chance to add Aly and Spike (their really cool bulldog) to some of the pictures. And, the wedding, even though Spike didn't come along this time, was just as fun. Nobody seemed nervous. Nobody was stressed. It was just a wonderful celebration with friends and family of Leann and Tucker's love for each other.
Leann and Tucker's first look was beautiful. Texas Old Town is such a beautiful venue. The halls are always clean. The landscaping is always perfect. It sure makes taking pictures easy for us. Aly hid inside Redbud Hall until I gave her the signal. Then she came running out and gave Tucker a huge hug. It was super cute!
The weather was perfect during the ceremony and the pictures turned out so great. Once family pictures were done, the party started. Andy with Austin Classic DJ (our DJ company) was on hand to spin the tunes and MC the evening. The dance floor was full all night long. My favorite part of the evening was the cake cutting. I know that's a big surprise. Leann and Tucker went with gourmet cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. When it was time for Leann and Tucker to feed each other their cake, Leann didn't hold back! Tucker got a mouth (and nose) full of cupcake. His retaliation was swift and appropriate. He gave Leann the biggest kiss ever and smeared cupcake and icing all over her face. It was really funny!
Leann and Tucker, we are so glad that we had the opportunity to take pictures at your wedding. Your family is so sweet and we are both so happy for all of you. We wish you years and years and years of joy!
