January weddings are always a gamble. The weather might be cold, windy, and rainy. Or, it might be just perfect...like it was for Casey and Rick's wedding. When Elena and I arrived at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, we were so impressed with the venue! Everything was so well thought out and taken care of. The reception hall was the perfect size, not too big, not too small. Many of the decorations were already up in the reception hall and it looked beautiful. And, the smell of levander filled the whole room. Elena and I didn't want to leave the reception hall because it smelled so good! The beer garden was really cool. The bunkhouse had several rooms so people could stay the night after the wedding. There was a honeymoon suite on the other end of the property. There was even an old car and truck for picture taking. It was great!
The ceremony site, right behind the reception hall, was the perfect place to Casey and Rick's wedding. All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way to the front. Rick was waiting next to the preacher. And, then came that special moment when the doors to the reception hall opened and Casey walked out with her father. It was just beautiful! After the ceremony, we took lots of family pictures and spent some time with the bridal party and Casey and Rick taking some really fun pictures. The reception started with a sit down meal. The menu read like something from a 5-star restaurant and the food looked like it tasted great.
After dinner, the party was hopping. Everyone danced and had a great time. The send off with Casey and Rick walking towards their suite was the perfect end to the evening. Casey and Rick, congratulations again on your wedding and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
