Vanessa and Adrian's Engagement Session

July 18, 2013  •  2 Comments

As we all know, all of Central Texas has been experiencing drought conditions for some time now.  The lakes are low.  The ground is dry.  And, things just aren't as green as we would like.  Generally, we welcome rain any day.  And, the more rain we get, the better.  Having said that, every once in a while we have a photo shoot scheduled and we need a few dry hours so we can go outside and take some pictures.  The first time we scheduled Vanessa and Adrian for their engagement shoot, Mother Nature had other plans.  We were forced to reschedule because it rained all day.

Elena and I were looking forward to the new date of Vanessa and Adrian's shoot.  HOWEVER...Mother Nature again had different plans.  We got rained out again!  We rescheduled their shoot again hoping that the old saying was true, "third time's a charm."

Weather was great on day three.  Until right before the shoot!!!  A big thunderstorm built up and began to dump rain on us again.  Luckily, this storm blew over quickly and we were finally able to meet and take pictures.  Stone Hall at Texas Old Town (www.texasoldtown.com) was a perfect setting for their shoot.  We had a great time with Vanessa, Adrian, and their two daughters.  And, the pictures turned out great!

Thank you guys for your flexibility and great attitude.  We know it's frustrating to have to reschedule your shoot...twice.  You all are so easy to work with and we appreciate that greatly.  We can't wait for your wedding!
