Jessica and Marshall's Wedding at Texas Old Town

If there was a dry eye at this wedding ceremony, we sure couldn't find it.  This was, by far, the most emotional wedding we have ever been to.  And, it was great!  Elena and I consider ourselves to be pretty acclimated to wedding emotion by now (thoughts of me dancing with my daughter at her wedding in the future don't even make me tear up anymore when I watch the father-daughter dance).  But, even we were moved by the joy and emotion that everyone displayed.  How could you not be emotional at this wedding?

Jessica was escorted down the aisle by her father.  But, she had to walk a bit to get to the aisle.  Marshall didn't want to see her until she was at the ceremony site so he turned around and looked away until the preacher and maid of honor (Jessica's sister) told him he could turn around.  When he finally turned around and saw Jessica for the first time...well, it was just beautiful!  It was what every bride wants to have happen when her man sees her for the first time on their wedding day.  Marshall started crying and had to turn back around for a second!!!  When he turned around to look at Jessica again, she was crying, he was crying, the bridesmaids were crying, the parents were crying, the groomsmen were crying.  It was wonderful.  Elena and I were so happy to see two young people who were so excited about married each other and so comfortable with showing their emotions!

The decorations were perfect.  Jessica looked like a princess!  Marshall looked awesome in his suit.  (The tan suit was a great choice for the groom and groomsmen.)  All in all, the wedding was fantastic.

Jessica and Marshall, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your big day.  Thank you for being willing to share your emotion in front of your friends and family.  You reminded Elena and I how truly special a wedding day is!
