Jordan's Bridal Shoot

I wouldn't do this for just anyone.  It had to be a really special occasion and a really special person.  This was a stretch for me and I'm not sure I could do it again.  I...brace yourselves...I hope you don't think less of me for doing this...I went to the Texas Tech campus to take pictures!

We love Jordan and her family and we were so thrilled when she asked if we would be her wedding photographers!  When we took Jordan's senior pictures, it was truly a team effort.  And, this bridal shoot was no different.  Jordan and her mom, Karen, had really done their homework and that made our job so much easier.  They had pictures in mind that they wanted and had scouted out locations for the shoot.  We started at Jordan's house in Spur, Texas and took some really great pictures with her horse, Trigger (thank you Ray for pushing Trigger around into the right place for every picture).  On the way out of town, we stopped by an old Chevy truck and spent a few minutes out in the Panhandle wind getting some cute pictures with the truck.

When we finished there, we headed 60 miles west to Lubbock and the Texas Tech campus.  We were able to find a few places that didn't have gale force winds and we started taking some seriously beautiful pictures!  We love working with Jordan.  First, she is just one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  Second, she is a beautiful young lady and I don't think she can take a bad picture.  And third, she genuinely has fun and is so excited about her pictures.  The places that she and her mom had found on the Tech campus were simply perfect.   The only downside of the day...I did half of the shoot with only one eye because I got a huge speck of dirt in my right eye.  It was so painful and my eyes wouldn't stop watering.  Guess when it finally got out of my eye.  When we turned into the driveway of my cousin's house when we got back home in Dickens.  Better late than never.

Jordan also brought her son, Hazen, with her.  He is just about the cutest thing you've ever seen and he was such a good baby for our shoot.  Thanks to Grandma for keeping him busy!  Karen was such a huge help, making sure that Jordan's dress always looked right.  Elena and I were so thankful for all of the help.

Jordan, we are so happy for you and look forward to seeing you in just a few months for your wedding!!!
