The first time we met Casey and Scott, Casey said, "We have had trouble finding a photographer because of personality issues."
I quickly answered, "I don't see why! You have a great personality!"
We all laughed, Casey hit me on the arm, and we have all gotten along like peas and carrots since then.
Elena and I knew that Casey and Scott's wedding would be awesome, but I think even we underestimated how much work time and effort Casey had spent on the big day. Everything was absolutely perfect! When we arrived, Casey and the girls were getting ready in their suite at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin and Scott and the guys across the street at a pool hall. I think what Elena and I liked the most about the whole day was what we saw in those very first minutes. Everyone was so excited for the bride and groom and it showed in every conversation, every laugh, every joke. Casey and Scott were so happy and everyone around them was so happy for them.
As you can see in the pictures, Casey was such a beautiful bride! The ceremony was beautiful and once the Donovan Academy Awards (a.k.a. reception) started, it was non-stop fun! The D.J. was awesome. There was a photo booth making the coolest flip books for all of their guests. The cake was out of this world. At one point, I came to Casey and told her that we would like to go take some more pictures with her and Scott. Casey looked at me with her sad eyes, stuck out her bottom lip and said, "I only have one hour of my party left. I don't want to miss any of it." Well, we couldn't blame her. It really was a great party!
Luckily, we were able to take some more pictures once the party was over. We all went outside and the crowd on 6th Street cheered Casey and Scott on as the stood in the middle of the street and posed for some more shots.
Casey and Scott, thank you so much for being so great to work with! Elena and I are so happy for the two of you. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
