Kristy and Steve's Wedding What a fun, fun wedding!  When we arrived at the venue, Kristy was getting ready with her bridesmaids.  Everybody was so laid back and relaxed.  Those are our favorite kinds of weddings.  We already knew that Kristy was going to be a beautiful bride.  We had the opportunity to do a bridal shoot with her several weeks before the wedding.  It was great to see Kristy and all of her bridesmaids laughing and just enjoying the day.  Thanks to the relaxed nature of the day, we had plenty of time to take lots of fun pictures with the girls.  

Kristy had arranged a special surprise for Steve.  He is a big fan of old cars so Kristy rented an old Cadillac with a driver to take Steve from his hotel to the venue.  It was an awesome sight seeing that car pull into the parking lot with Steve and his best man in the backseat.  And, of course, we had to have some pictures with the car.  (Not only did the car drop Steve off, it came back at the end of the night to pick up Kristy and Steve.)  Before the ceremony, we had the chance to take get all the groom and groomsmen pictures, as well.  It is so easy to take pictures when we are given plenty of time! 

One of the funnest things about the whole evening was something that we have NEVER seen at a wedding before.  It's not often that someone does something that is completely original.  And, this originality was perfect!  Kristy and Steve had an ice cream truck stop by their wedding during the reception!!!  It was awesome!!!!  I like ice cream.  Elena LOVES ice cream.  She was so excited to have ice cream at a wedding!  And, this wasn't just a vanilla or chocolate cone.  There were tons of choices and all of the ice cream was really, really good!  Needless to say, between dinner, the cake, and the ice cream truck, we sure didn't lose any weight at this wedding!

We are going to miss Kristy and Steve.  We did an engagement shoot with them, then Kristy's bridal session, and then the wedding.  We got used to seeing Kristy and Steve over the past few months.  One of the things we love the most about our job is being able to build relationships with such great people.  Kristy and Steve, congratulations on your marriage!  We are so happy that we could share so much time with you and we wish you both many, many years of happiness!
