Brittany and Spencer Wedding Slideshow We have been so lucky with wedding venues lately.  Every venue tries to find a little hole in the wedding world where it can offer something unique.  Many couples pick their venue first because it is such an important decision.  The venue can make or break your wedding day.  Having said that, if classy, beautiful, well thought out, friendly, grand, impressive, fantastic, or awesome describe what you're looking for in a wedding venue, you should definitely check out Plantation House.  

Brittany and Spencer could not have chosen a better venue!  When we arrived, we found Brittany's dress and shoes in the bride's room.  We were able to get started immediately with pictures.  By the time Brittany arrived, we had all the detail pictures out of the way and were ready to start taking pictures of people.  Brittany and Spencer did a first look before the ceremony.  This whole first look trend is quickly turning into our favorite part of the wedding day (well, tied with eating cake, of course).  It's always so awesome to be there when the bride and groom see each other for the first time!  Brittany and Spencer's first look was just super!  They laughed, they cried, they appreciated the moment they had to be alone before their wedding and just enjoy each other's company.  It was perfect!

The ceremony was beautiful and the weather could not have been better.  Brittany and Spencer went with pies instead of cakes.  That's a big risk in my book.  But...I have to admit that I really appreciated their choice when I took the first bite of that little pie.  It was really, really good!  Usually, the norm is the norm for a reason.  Cake is really good.  But, sometimes it's a good idea to break with tradition and do something different.  Brittany and Spencer, you did well!

I had the feeling that, at the end of the night, no one was ready to go home.  I do believe that's the sign of a great wedding!  Brittany and Spencer, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day.  We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
